Take the liberty for an individual and complete check up within one day. An examination of the cardiovascular system and of your fitness is as least as important as regular dentist visits. With the one day check-up you undergo a series of medical examination stations in the pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Usually you would have to hurry from clinic to clinic for these tests. At the end of the day already, all of your results are available to provide a detailed picture of the state of your health. Your personal doctor guides you through all examinations and creates a relaxed atmosphere for individual discussions which gives you the opportunity again to discuss all relevant questions which are on your mind.. During these discussions your tailor-made health plan is drawn upon the basis of your results.

Check Up programme

Preliminary meeting, basic examination, and final consultation to professionally

Heart, circulatory system, lungs

Colour doppler echocardiography of the heart

• ECG at rest and ECG during exercise
• Lung function at rest (spirometry) & lung function test and during exercise (spiroergometry)
• Chest x-ray
• Investigation of the coronary vessels (coronary angiography) and angioplasty (ballon dilatation and implantation of new generation of drug eluted stents) if necessary

Target: Assessing the functional state of your cardiovascular system and excluding any related illnesses.

Abdomen, bowel, internal organs

• Ultrasound diagnostics (sonography) of the abdominal organs
• Ultrasound diagnostics (sonography) of the thyroid gland
• Videoendoscopy of the stomach and colon, (including polypectomy if necessary and evaluation of an inflammation with Helicobacter Pylori (H2 breathing test or biopsy).

Target: Exclusion of illnesses related to the organs examined.

Vascular system

• Circulation test of the arteries supplying the brain (colour doppler sonography)
• Circulation test of the arteries and veins of the legs

Target: Revealing circulatory malfunction and determining your specific vascular risk.

Laboratory

• Blood tests (erythrocycte sedimentation rate, full red and white blood count including leucocyte differentiation, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, GOtransaminase, GP transaminase, Gamma GT, alkaline phosphatase, cholinesterase, amylase, acid phosphatase, iron, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, uric acid, creatinine, urea, total protein and serum electrophoresis, coagulation test, homocysteine (cardiac/ circulatory system risk), HbA1c (early diabetes screening), fasting blood glucose, CRP (vascular risk indicator)
• Urine analysis (leucocytes, nitrite, pH, protein, glucose, ketones, urobilinogen, bilirubin, haemoglobin)
• Hemocare test for blood traces in the stool
